Highlights April 25-29
Bonjour!! It has been a while!! Here are some highlights from this week, and below those are some moments from the weeks before that haven't been updated to the blog yet. This week in math, we have been continuing on with subtraction. Grade 2s have been practicing subtraction with regrouping, and Grade 1s have been learning strategies of fact families and part-part-whole concepts. They have been doing a great job! Practice for this can be found on google classroom. In science, we have been looking at needs of plants and animals for taking care of classroom plants, as well as meal worm! Although the worms are creepy and crawly, they are sure interesting to observe and study! In French, we have been practicing writing based on picture prompts. Students have been doing a great job of adding details to their writing to make it interesting.
