Highlights January 10-14!
We had a wonderful week back together!
In math, we worked on decomposing numbers as our beginning to our addition and subtraction unit. We also practiced measuring our feet using non-standard measurements!
In social studies, we journaled about Iqaluit and looked at an artifact from the past! Have your student tell you about what it is and what it was used for!
In art, we created depictions of the northern lights you can see in Iqaluit as well as an Inuksuk that means 'joy'!
In french, we journaled about our vacation, and practice our new sounds 'in' 'im' 'ein' 'aim' 'yn'. Have your student tell you the sound with the action!
